Free lan chat for ubuntu:
- go to application at the bottom we can see the ubuntu software center
- in this at the search place give the name as iptux
- then seen can see the iptux there
- install the iptux in the ubuntu
- after this you can chat with the users who are using ubuntu for lan chat

this you can find the system in the lan by the ip address
